KOCHI: In what is considered a major breakthrough in the sensational Jisha murder case, the Kerala police have arrested a labourer from Assam. It is learnt that the suspect, who was arrested two days ago in Kochi, has admitted to committing the gruesome murder. According to sources, four friends of the Assam native have also been taken into custody.
They said DNA samples of the key suspect have
been sent for verification to see if they match with the saliva and blood samples found on Jisha's body. Jisha, a 30-year-old Dalit law student, was murdered on April 28 at her home in Perumbavoor.
