After two to three months of confusion, I finally closed my BSNL broadband today.
Applied for Railwire connection.
Since the LCO for BSNL and Railwire is same, hence only fiber splicing is required and no cable laying is required.
ID is created and awaiting for LCO to come and change the line and configuration.
Initially going with 50mbps plan
Plan ID: 800233
Amount: 549 rs, 50 mbps tax extra
OTT

All these OTT included in 50mbps for 549 without any extra cost? Seems like a worthy plan. (y)

When i used railwire around 4 years back. no ott. 100mps 999+tax. but almost no downtime i faced and ping with 3ms. railwire seems so underrated.

My family members using 30mbps plan in railwire 250+taxes.

Just now I got the connection live.
They did only onu configuration.
No splicing or fiber wire changeover.
LCO is user-friendly and didn't ask for a single money.
Recharge also made by me.
Speed is good.
Spend zero rupees for installation.
I wish BSNL have such LCOs, BSNL FTTH will be utilised to full potential. 15L kms of fiber is being unused.

ACT fiber, Excitel, Railtel and many local ISPs are bundled fiber plans with OTTs, Sadly Jio and Airtel charging Rs.200/- extra for OTTs with thier fiber plans

Airtel and Jio are offering Android set top box along with bundled OTT. I believe due to that they are charging extra Rs. 200.

They are offering Live tv or iptv with their STB, but they can offer OTTs with base plans without STB also as their apps (xstream play & Jio tv+) are available in play store.
