Apple revenue breakdown – iPad sells more than the Macs

Its well known that the iPhone makes half of Apple’s revenue and most of its profits. Now it seems that the iPad is taking a larger role, with a huge 25% of Apple’s total revenue in Apple’s revenue breakdown.

On the other hand, Macs account for only 10% of Apple’s sales. The App Store accounts for 6% of revenue, and all other products and services of Apple account only a meagre 10%.

The iPad becoming more important than all the others in the portfolio shows just how successful Steve Jobs was at spotting and developing new market opportunities. Just look at the graph of iPhone in the second image. Can you suggest any word to describe it??? Skyrocketing…. Maybe…
