Apple has increased prices of iPhones and Apple Watch everywhere in the world except USA and China.
So what they said in the keynote is not true for a majority of the countries in the world.

In India too, the 14 series is 10k more expensive than the reveal price of the 13 series. And for the watch the Series 8 is 4k more expensive than the reveal price of Series 7.
