Good News Amazon Prime Video user interface getting a redesign

I got this update on my Fire Stick 4K three days ago. But no live TV.

Live tv tab only available for android device...not fire ..

hmm.. unfortunately it is not app update,so uninstall/reinstall does not matter.
It is server side change, so they are doing it gradually to all users.

Interface updated for me but without Live Tv Tab

Fire TV home screen has a dedicated Live TV section right? which aggregates the live channels from all the OTT apps. Which is why Amazon may have decided against having the live TV section inside Prime video app as well.

Mine was updated few days ago itself but didn't checked live TV ..I am not using/watching Live TV..So missed to check..

Right.. Fire tv stick already had its own Live Tv section on home screen, that may be the reason for removing it on prime video app.

Is there any need to open the Prime Video app on FireTV?

I never open it as everything on Prime Video is accessible from Fire TV home screen.

That is so true, Amazon gives utmost priority to the prime video content on the fire tv home page.
