Discussion Alternative Apps to popular Chinese Apps which have similar or better features then them for people focused on privacy/Data Security

As we all know most of the Apps owned by chinese co's have been news due to privacy or data security issue. for people who are worried about privacy & Data Security , i request fellow tech members to suggest alternative legal apps which have similar feature or better feature than it so that users can use it without worry about data security problems. I admit there are very few alternatives , some of the popular chinese apps are indeed pretty helpful such as camscanner etc which users may not delete. Though there are many people who would prefer to use alternative apps which provide similar or better features and peace of mind .
Guys please tell alternative apps name and and its feature and similarity compared to Chinese apps in that category, mention its name and your user experience of usage of that app and inform about the permission which the app seek is it necessary for the use of that app - of both Chinese & alternative apps - both its pros and cons according to your user experience. only family friendly genre of app types - gaming apps & software , screen recorder, Web browser, Comic book , office suite , karaoke, news, messenger, file sharing app, password manager, social network service , camera , video edit, paint app, voice recorder, locker app, movies, dictionary , beauty , payment app, VPN, E-comm, utility application, video& live streaming app, entertainment , short video & video conference etc .

It's difficult to boycott Chinese smartphones because of their monopoly and subsided cost from Communist Party that sells propaganda. Atleast we can boycott their software which is where they make most of the money from data and ads.

Essentially Indian online marts and courier agencies are all Indian companies with more or less backing of Chinese VCs. In real life, it's almost impossible to ignore / avoid these brands/ companies, just like Tata.

In the software front, you can do away with apps / phones who have substantial Chinese investment.

Indian investment laws were recently amended to curb Chinese investments. But those done in the past cannot be done away with.

Even in the past, brands like Micromax ,and other Indian brands were used to procure their products from Chinese ODMs and rebrand them to their brands.

Very easy to boycott. Order food and groceries from local shops directly. Cancel orders shipped with Chinese funded courier companies.
