@sankar: From which area you are? I am from Velachery and planning to migrate to 4G since it is a free upgrade offer.

Only 8 Mbps in 4G :(

I think we need 5G to get true 3G speed :s

I went for a demo in Airtel Santhome office. My house is in Mandaveli. The person played a 4K Video and the video played non stop without buffering. What is your people suggestion? Should I go for one? Also one more advantage in 4G is for example you choose the 650 plan and exhaust the quota of 3GB before your billing cycle, you can change your plan to 750 ( which gives 4GB limit) so you will get an additional 1GB and you will not be charged both 650 and 750 but only Rs 750 as rental. I experienced the demo of Wi-Fi hotspot which can be connected with 10 devices.

Funny AirTel!! In Chennai itself more than 50% no 3g. More than 25% no network coverage n call drops. Whats the hurry in 4g, with out rectifying basic needs? AirTel just creating buzz words and try to ment money from customers.

i get on a average of 3-5Mbps on my airtel 3g, now im getting between 5-8mbps on 4G and its fluctuating a lots, i dont see a huge difference.
