Data usage app differs from Airtel data usage. If we receive or sent that much MB/GBs then it should match with Airtel data usage.

If you reach 1GB usage quota on Airtel actual usage stays at 600MB on data usage apps. Why it doesn't shows extra always lesser? Even Grocery shopkeepers give one two extra aloo per kgs.🙄
Bro i wasn't saying Abhinav was lying. DJ said something about Airtel claiming 4G is faster. That was indeed true. So it does consume more data. What has happened with him is indeed a terrible experience and i can't defend them for that.

Something weird is happening with me as well.
I'm currently in 448 plan(1.9gb/day), but when I use 512 mb data I get 50% data uses alert pop up message and after 1.0 GB 100% data uses alert. But the right amount of data left is showing in Airtel thanks app.
The irony is still I can access to the fastest speed. Again post 1.9 GB data uses I can still access to the fastest speed. I have an add on 7.7 GB left that might be the reason. But when I checked I can find still the same amount 7.7 data left. I don't know what weird is cooking there. Its happening since the recharge of 448 plan.

@Abhinav842 Bro , I have no any idea about this, I use much lesser data a day. See the given image.

I have a similar experience like the post above with Airtel. I hadn't recharged my Airtel since like January yet they kept giving me 10GB of free data many times with a validity of 10days. All i had to do was a smart recharge of 23. I did that this month just to check if their services are good in my location and again they gave me 10GB of data which expires today. Here you can see the data used is around 800MB in past 10 days and the balance is also showing accurately. I'm not here to claim they're the most ethical operator in the country. I didn't even bother using the data. Just sharing my experience.

In my case also opposite. Finding these kind of issues in JIO while In airtel its showing correctly

What the heck. Speed increases consumption of data increases that's true. Since 1mbps speed data can download a 60mb file in 60s. Depends on speed one can consume more data or less in a given time. But here it is, watching same video at same quality with 1mbps or 100 mbps consumers same amount of data whether it is a jio or airtel. Read before commenting and say what you know but don't talk rubbish.

All operators usually cap the usage to MB always. Let's say you download a 1 kb file and turn off data. You'll be losing 1MB in your operators account while your phone will say only 1kb usage. This was raised by several users over social media and they have clarified it. I don't usually turn off data. So when phone says 1.3gb, my operator says 1.4gb. I notice only a 100mb difference.
