One more proof for airtel loot company :wall

Yesterday nit I enquiry abt sim upgrade cc told no charges need for upgrade sim ..

So I went morning for sim upgrade to airtel showroom :wall

Shocked!!! They ask me 50rs. For sim upgrade wall .. Then I told cc told free for sim upgrade .. Then she realise and told some lame excuses blah blah :wall

Finally they refuse to give it free .. Then I again call cc they told ask bill and give bill number to us & we take complaint and refund that amount :wall

But I didn't trust them all this nonsense so just shouted cc and came back ..

And called my friend who is manager in airtel showroom in Pondicherry border ..

He came to my home and delivered a new LTE sim for free with 10rs. TT :luv

Finally upgraded

It's free only bro.. for me the sim was door delivered by airtel representative within 2 hrs of request. (It's more than a year now)

may be the franchise or specific shops in your area may have been charging..

So I enquired abt this to my friend they said all the showrooms of airtel are charging only ..

Btwn , in Pondicherry they already stopped issuing free sims so he told if you registered also u won't get new swap sim pack

Actually the SIMs are free.. That may be or may not be known by airtel.
We actually don't know where the money will go, to the company or the franchise owner's pocket.

This was the same situation in my area when Jio was first started, even before Welcome Offer. Like in last July - August. Local shops where charging Rs.300 to 1000 for a single Jio SIM, where we can get one free from Digital store. Also there was a tie-up between these local shop people and Digital store people. Some amount from Local shop will go to digital store employee's pocket.

Sai bro when upgrade my Airtel SIM in Airtel express store they also asked me to pay Rs 30 each for 3 SIMs. I paid total Rs 90. Also their behavior was very rude like Pay Rs 90 and upgrade or leave the store. Don't know why they are calling it free upgrade .

Where as in Vodafone Showroom upgrade was also very fast and people are very polite there. Airtel should learn from Voda about how to behave with customers :dodgy

Yes I too upgraded other n/w sim like idea , aircel never faced such issue even idea showroom guys given 4G sim free to me while @ that time LTE device not in my hands :luv
