what is clear answer

Does IPTV consuming data from FUP?

exiting users share details

Data consume over wired fiber
data consume over Airfiber (technically 5G network)

average consumption or bit rate wise details answered are welcome.

Admin can PIN that answer for further reference if found correct and legitimate
1. Yes, IPTV consumes data from FUP
2. Both Wired (3.3TB) or Airfiber (1TB) consumes same amount of data for IPTV
3. Avg HD channel bitrate is 4mbps and for Streaming 1hr it costs over 2gb

So we can consume 480 GB data for 8 hrs viewing per day in a month
  • Compression: HEVC (H.265)
  • Max Bitrate for Full HD IPTV (HEVC): ~5 Mbps (High quality)
  • 5 Mbps=5÷8=0.625 MBps=2250 MB/hr=2.25 GB/hr
  • Data usage per hour: 2.25 GB/hr
  • Daily usage (8 hours): 2.25 x 8 = 18GB / day
  • Usage per month: 18GB x 30 = 540GB

Note: this is just an approx calculation and not an actual calculation. There has not been any actual test carried out to check the real data consumption
