Valid point: As per this video, Airtel iptv consumes internet data for playing tv channels, so its like Jio tv+, not like BSNL IFTV (VLAN).

BSNL IFTV via vlan is only for few circles, majority of states have skypro which doesn't require any vlan configuration.

The stream works via bsnl's internal ip address (class B subnet) routed after the gateway. So, technically it should consume internet data.
