I didn't seen what was last remote version but still remote version 9 seems very old to me.

Keep checking bro, u will get version 1.0.0108.

After this version update u will recieve remote firmware update also along with this update.

When enabling volume control in hdmi cec setting, I'm not able to control tv volume and after Disabling that option only stb volume is controlling.

It is working fine in my STB. I am able to control TV volume when HDMI CEC option turned on.

However, I just checked on mine but in clicking 'Check for updates' button, it shows No updates available.

My STB currently installed application version shows as 1.0.0094

That's not compulsory bro. In my stb same status is also showing but i just received 1.0.0094 update when turned on stb after a long time.

Its working very well on my side.
From day one i am using TV volume only

I have set stb volume to 25 from setting I think its by name default maximum volume its 25 (full) so when i press volume up down it shows TV volume bars only.

Maybe issue from tv CEC settings

Can you check if you have enabled CEC controls on both TV and STB

Sometimes even if either side having issues it doesn't operate.

Yes tv hdmi cec settings is enabled and not having issues with any other airtel xstream stb but in this box it is not working from day 1 for me.
