Thanks for confirming...Like you suggested in your last comment, I also called Vodafone customer care just now (first time calling their CC :D) & they confirmed what you said i.e incoming & outgoing will stay active plus 3 GB data if doing a 48 recharge...

Thank You... :) :)

I called their cc (199) today & asking about this 48 ₹ plan then they said to me you will get benefits only 3 GB data for 28 days (Sim alive) but when I asking about outgoing & incoming calls then they clearly says that in this ₹48 plan
" No Outgoing calls & No Incoming Calls".

Yes. Better recharge with 49 rupees, this is also giving 100mb data. And it's carry forwarding but not 39 talktime..

This is false. Both your outgoing and incoming calls are still activated. All you need is talktime balance to make outgoing calls.

I didn't try but I asked this in my local customer care office, they told me ₹48 data pack won't increase talktime validity...

If you do smart recharges of ₹49, ₹66 etc. You can't carry forward benefits even if you recharge with ₹1000 as it is promotional balance not main balance. Meanwhile if you recharge with Top Up like ₹10 and ₹20 you can carry forward talktime with any data, talktime or unlimited plan.

@DJ Roy no no 100mb data is carry forwarding in ₹49 pack which I use but not talktime. I also recharge ₹20 for main account balance.. (airtel, kol.)

Can anyone tell me how to activate plans using main balance for Vodafone?

I think the USSD code is *111*5# but it doesnt have all the plans. Also, Rs 49 and Rs 79 plans cannot be activated using main balance, is this true? I wrote to Vodafone Customer Care, they reply with all broken english and incorrect details. The USSD code they provided does not work.

vodafone is suddenly changing all the lost cost postpaid rental plans. I was in 99Rs only 500 mins free ,plan now i have been moved to Rs149 plan without my consent, this plan has 600 mins and 2gb free.
I am also using corporate 99 postpaid kolkata voda plan. I got a sms that I will be upgraded to 149 plan which has 600 min L/N +2gb data. Now I will sure move to jio (555/3 =185) which I get more data & free min

49/79 cannot be activated using main balance. Data plans can still use talktime balance to activate. Can be done through app as well
