May be u r lucky...I haven't recharged my spare Jio number in over 6 months now, and incoming is working fine.
For Airtel Prepaid:Today I got the following message :
"Airtel Pack expired on 07-May-19. You have been given 1 day grace on validity. If not recharged, Rs23 will be deducted tonight from balance for 28 days validity. To stop the auto-debit, dial*121*777# or recharge"
Considering that I use this number only for incoming, anybody have some idea, what will happen if I stop auto-debit .... and do not recharge ?
Outgoing will stop for sure, but what about incoming .... will it stop immediately ? What will be my incoming switch-off date ?
If found the following info in google. Can someone confirm ?
What happen if your Balance Is Zero ?
If in your Sim Card having 0 Balance then your Incoming and Outgoing will Stopped But Sms will be Continue Delivered Until you Recharged your Sim at least Rs 35 Plan. You have to do Recharge Before 90 Days from grace Period otherwise your Number Will be Sale to Other Users.
Read the first post of this thread. Change in rules by operators due to Jio effect. If you have not recharged since Nov'2018, then probably your Outgoing and Incoming facility is barred, but your Main Account balance will still be there. Or, Airtel is auto-deducting Rs 23 from you main balance and auto extending vailidity each month. As per TRAI rules, operators cannot deactivate a number permanently if there is sufficient balance (at least Rs 20) in Main Account Balance. My airtel 2G sim was unused for 6years and they never asked us to recharge a minimum pack.
Why

Could you elaborate on your case? Your main account balance, outgoing/incoming facility if available, last recharge date,
