I saw several people's cried and begging for technical issue of jio fiber and airtel fiber at every single day in my local neighborhood. These private companies which only making money even they told jio stores employee for more suggestion to get fiber connection when they asked for jio sim.

[ For you Solution ] - I Hope your bsnl will be improved well otherwise you can asked bsnl vendor when they come at your place for technical fix, just took their number can call or text them with your write [BSNL fiber connection no ] and situation you are facing and write fiber [Customer name ].

They definitely will check and come at your place or fix at their end. If nothing works above, then go to bsnl office, write a written complaint with connection details and took [BSNL JTO no ]. They wait for 7-10 days for full fix or immediately effect. When you faced problem but try both methods. Be happy.
Well, they don't really seem to care much here. I don't have to suffer with BSNL but I'll let my friend know who does about complaining to BSNL JTO. 🤔

And for Jio, I think their local services are usually the best as well as download speed, though browsing speed sucks. No idea about Airtel, since only one friend of mine have it, and he got it recently.

I know. That's why said they are wasting it. BSNL+BBNL is having 15L kms and you are saying they can't provide 100Mbps? How? What's the reason? People are not opting for it because local LCOs are asking for too much installation fees. Airtel is not that good anymore. Neither 4G/5G. Not fiber as well.
True, especially about the LCOs. If I just want to see whether it works better than my current ISP, why would I want to spend ₹5k on it. 😂

BTW, Airtel doesn't have as much resources as BSNL and Jio?

If you are talking about the fiber infrastructure, Jio uses the highest quality resources across India. BSNL and Airtel are similar considering they are LCO-operated in most of the areas. The only major difference is Airtel uses FAT box similar to Jio Fiber which BSNL doesn't use.

Jio fiber cable quality might be good. But routing quality is poor. I feel they have older version of hardware equipments in the backend for broadband. I think their broadband core network is slightly outdated or something, giving that lag in browsing. Might also be related to CG-NAT also not sure. It's not giving that fiber like feel or responsiveness.

I agree with you. Even with lesser investment in the infra, Airtel Fiber internet experience feels snappier compared to Jio Fiber.

Yes, I feel they are cutting costs on hardwares. Their inferior hardware is not able to utilise the fiber to full potential. I think they are using 10 years old hardware for broadband backend. Because it's launch was talked since 2015 or 16 something and finally launched in Q3,2019. Even their ONTs are not good compared to airtel or tata play who are providing nokia ONT for FTTH. Jio fiber is nothing but cable tv service giving multiple OTT apps.

I have no idea. In Navi Mumbai, they have very less manpower(20 only for fiber and Airfiber, they don't have Wifi 6 router from Nokia for 1Gbps connection , so I said tata tata bye bye) and for 30km circle, where there is established Local FTTH players, they haven't got much business.

Jio has very less manpower after lockdown for fiber. BSNL FTTH is the only option in rural Maharashtra. Local FTTH players can give max 50Mbps on Tata bandwidth. BSNL can give 200-300-500-1000Mbps with 10TB max usage.
