It's good to learn that no SIM replacement would be required for most of the existing (4G SIM) users to enable 5G.

This will be for Non- Standalone 5G users I guess... For Standalone 5g users (as in case of Jio) a different sim would be required... I might be wrong but that's what I think as of now...

No it mostly won't... Unless Jio is going to do NSA, there's no way that SIM will work with 5G...
eSIMs will definitely work after a configuration update from Jio. That's the perk of using an eSIM..
