That logo is due to ULI - Upper Layer indicator being enabled by Airtel even on sites with no 5G radio but can do intersite NSA

Yes like 1/3 or some cities like Chennai 2/3 sites have 5G and rest do intersite NSA to do 5G but If 5G signal is low it can't do NSA

Yes. Hopefully backhaul will be upgraded slowly to 10G...only then real speed benefits under load will be observed

Airtel 5G gaining speed in Kerala.

But network connectivity has gone worse. Calls are not getting connected, disconnect in between calls, noise in between calls. Worse in terms of call connectivity.

Same here in TN Tiruvallur is outskirts of Chennai and Sulur and palladam are outskirts of Coimbatore and Tiruppur

Tiruvallur is a very big city/district. Not sure how you say it's same as Chennai.

Jio also has no 5G in Tiruvallur and they'll count it as separate city only.
