Airtel launched its 3G Mobile & Data Services in the state of Jammu & Kashmir commencing with Srinagar. Already Aircel, Relaince and BSNL are offering 3G Service in Srinagar, Now airtel becomes the fourth 3G Service provider in the city.
“Powered by 160 sites in Srinagar alone, Airtel 3G services will gradually be launched across the state in weeks to come,” Chief Executive Officer, Upper North, Mobile service, Shashi Arora said.
He said with the launch of 3G service, customers in Kashmir will now be able to join the three million plus Airtel customers across the country who are already accessing a host of unique services that 3G enables.
