RANCHI: Aftershocks of a strong
earthquake measuring 7.1 on the
Richter scale which hit Nepal on
Tuesday afternoon were felt in
Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro and other
parts of Jharkhand for over one
minute, frightening people who ran
out of residential buildings, offices
and marketing complexes for safety.
"We were working on the fourth
floor. It started shaking. Initially I
thought I was feeling dizzy due to
heat, but within seconds we realized
it was a powerful earthquake,"
Anand Khalkho, a construction
worker, who with colleagues ran
down an under construction
commercial complex in Main Road,
said.

As per Met dept. this was aftershocks only and its epicenter was found near nepal china border

Another strong earthquake has
apparently struck Nepal and
moderate tremors were felt in Delhi,
NCR, West Bengal and Bihar.
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha too
seems to have experienced the
same. The actress posted on micro-
blogging site Twitter, "Omg, i just
felt myself swaying a bit and got a
msg that theres been an earthquake
in Delhi!! Hoping all fine!" [sic] .
Tapsee Pannu was quick to react on
Twitter, " Noooo! Not Nepal again!
It's so so saddening! Why this fury
against that 1 country!!?" [sic].
According to PTI the earthquake
measured 7.1 on the Richter
