Aadhar is a not a proof of citizenship. Nor is it a proof of birth. So basically what's the purpose of Aadhar? How is it a ID proof when it doesn't recognise your birth?

Aadhar is just identity proof to get your Bank account, PAN Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, avail various state benefits. Resulting, everything get linked to Aadhar which makes it single click login to get services.
Although, in future when proper ending to fake Aadhar would be live, we'll see Aadhar as proof to everything.
