Atleast here we have somebody doing something democratic instead of CM making provocative remarks like "Badla lenge" (will take revenge). This is also clever strategy like Obama's "Yes We Can" and Modi's "Ache Din" when elections are coming.

Let's be honest here. Infrastructure here is ancient. Every other day some or other incident happens. Instead of saving those vote banks with complimentary houses and toilets. Government needs to concentrate on infrastructure.

It's the duty of Central Govt , Rail Board and their Engineer . DRM should take responsibility.

I was talking about infrastructure in general. I have always been vocal about bad British era infrastructure in Bengal.

Yep the bridges collapsed in Recent past due to the negligence of PWD , state Govt and respective Governing bodies. It's utter failure by them

That's my point. Our leaders of all parties are playing cat and mouse where issues like economy, infrastructure, price control and health care are being ignored and going down the drain for the sake of winning election.

There needs to be a second brigde next to Howrah bridge. Cuz, I fear it's gonna collapse anyday.
