Exactly what I was wondering. Chrome user here.

Jio and brave browser has some issues. With Airtel it works with shield too.

It's a Brave browser issue. Try with Chrome. Or try disabling the shield.

I don't think so. I use Brave, Chrome and Firefox, and still face this issue. Brave is literally the fastest one in everything for me.

For me, it was IPv6 causing issues. There are days when IPv6 works fast too, but often it is slow.
