What is a definition for a smart City : A 'smart city' is an urban region that is highly advanced in terms of overall infrastructure, sustainable real estate, communications and market viability. It is a city where information technology is the principal infrastructure and the basis for providing essential services to residents.
Sterlite Tech has already initiated some of the government projects like National Mission Education & National Optical Fiber optic cable, cat cable, data cable, lan cable ,  to create digital infrastructure meant for digital services and to increase digital literacy in remote areas.
