Xiaomi has announced List of Smartphones that will not receive any Further Update.

Earlier only 7 phones where in this list but now they have added 3 More devices. As of now the company said that they will provide Security Patches.

It is great that Xiaomi is stopping updating its old devices. Updating more will ruin the devices. And change is never good for anybody.

List contains names of phones that have been receiving updates but from now on the will not receive it. Support for Redmi 1s was dropped in 2018.

Also, the list states Redmi 3S, but it doesnt state Redmi 3S Prime.
On 3S Prime, I have MIUI 10 running on Marshmallow.

Xiaomi mentions both variants of Redmi 3s with same name. You can see on their community only Redmi 3s is there.

So Redmi 3s Prime will also not receive any update
