Idea Cellular suspends interconnect services with Aircel over dues

" Despite several reminders for releasing the dues since November 2017, the operator has failed to meet its payment commitments forcing Idea to suspend interconnect services, as per the terms of interconnect agreement between both parties," said the Kumar Mangalam Birla owned operator in a statement.

Idea Cellular regretted the inconvenience caused to mobile users who are unable to connect with each other. "We sincerely hope that the operator will honour its contractual obligation and payment commitment, in the interest of customers," said the company.

Breaking Idea 4G beats Airtel, Jio in TRAI drive tests

Smaller operators Idea Cellular and Telenor handily beat bigger rivals Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel in a 4G network quality field test conducted by the telecom regulator in the Gujarati city of Surat.

In fact, the survey agency was not able to get a Youtube video playing over Jio’s network in all five locations where the tests were conducted

Good News Vodafone revises RED postpaid plans to offer up to 10 GB extra data {499 , 699 & 999}

NEW DELHI: Telecom operator Vodafone India has revamped its existing RED postpaid plans where it’s now offering up to 10 GB additional data in its plans. The move comes as Jio recently increased the data offerings of its plans.

Vodafone ’s RED Basic plan which earlier offered 10 GB data will now be offering 20 GB data. Similarly, the company’s RED Regular plan costing Rs 499 which earlier offered 20 GB data will give 30 GB data now, and Rs 999 plan will offer 60 GB data instead of 50 GB.

The telco’s RED Medium plan of Rs 699 will offer 5 GB additional data where earlier it was offering 35 GB, will now offer 40 GB.

In all of the above mentioned plans, users get unlimited local, STD and national roaming along with free incoming and outgoing national roaming, 100 free local and national SMS. The users also get carry forward data facility wherein they can accumulate up to 200GB data.

Also, users opting for RED plans except for RED Basic plan get free subscription to MAGZTER for up to 12 months.

On January 7, the market capitalization or value of the entire cryptocurrency market hit an all-time high of $835.69 billion, according to Coinmarketcap.com, a website that takes into account the prices of over 1,000 digital coins across different exchanges. In early trade on Tuesday, the value of the cryptocurrency market had plunged to $278.53 billion, marking a more than $557.1 billion drop since the record high.
