My Broadband / Networking Setup

I use Airtel Xstream Fiber with a 200 Mbps primary connection, paired with a TP-Link WiFi 6 AX1500 Mbps Archer AX10 router as an access point. For backup, I rely on Jio Fiber, typically with a 30 Mbps or 100 Mbps plan available for up to 7 days when needed.

Airtel Xstream Broadband has now hard-capped its plan speeds. For the 200 Mbps plan, getting only 200 Mbps or slightly above, with no extra 20% speed now.

We had a strange experience from Airtel for a PORT IN request. We submitted for POSTPAID Port in and the Airtel store guy who did the porting, was awesome that, it was done to PREPAID. The POSTPAID request was especially done to make it work in J&K as my brother is a soldier. We went to store and the store manager was not surprised about this, and attitude was that it's one of their common mistakes. The funniest part was that he declared that the person who did the Porting process is not their staff.

We were then promised that within 24 hours, he will be arranging someone to get it converted to POSTPAID, and the promise melted by evening, and now he is like I may see, its Sunday etc. Even the twitter team didn't help, they didn't even as for the mobile number to check the issue. We were getting snippet saying Please give us time to check this. I wonder how they were checking it without asking the phone number.

Now we have to run behind the Store people to get this fixed before he joins back the force in 3 days. If the conversion doesn't work, his primary sim will be a dummy.

We had to recharge the sim, as he needs to make calls (we were promised ) and told that the recharge amount will be reflected in billing cycle once POSTPAID conversion is done. Will this really happen?

There used to be a small airtel app which used to check fiber data usage it was removed later, how can i check in the thanks app on how much data i have used in the month

Hello guyz, Can someone help me. How to reduce loud background music from a movie on Sony Bravia TV. Its very difficult to understand Dialogues during a movie due to these loud irritating background sound. I have to keep remote in my hand during a movie to control its volume in every 2-3 minutes.
Im not using any sound bar.
I tried every sound settings but no result.
Should I use sound bar to reduce these background loud sounds/music??.
Please help....

Hi Guys, I am new here. I bought xstream air fiber last week. I took the plan 599 black. And the installation guy told me that the new idu and odu are like hotspots. You can use it anywhere were Airtel 5g is available and also he told me that the odu don't need any direction( is it true?) . And also the plan I took is 599 which offers 30 mbps. The thing is I'm getting 150+ mbps. Is it normal? . Also they provided me with dth also. And the service guy place the wifi odu in the dish antenna stand.
