Discussion Samsung Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung is planning to get rid of the "Plus" version in the series, in favor of the "Edge" version. Plus had been consistently the worst in terms of sales in the flagship series. This is inline with the Apple's thought process too to get rid of the iPhone Plus with the 17 series.

Problem with the jio Fiber ONT (model JCOW404)

Facing an issue with my jio router model JCOW404 then contacted the support team and they changed my router with a new one, but it is of the same model JCOW404 my problem is not resolved, i think the problem is with this particular router models. I faced these problems after firmware update, i think there is some problem with the software, hope JIO will resolve the issue soon. If any one had similar problem then describe it any solution for the problem please let me know

Discussion Apple iPhone 18 Series

Apple will reportedly have an under display face ID for the Pro models with the 18 series. This is inline with the plans to go all screen for the subsequent year.

Seeking Help Is it a good idea to switch to Airtel Black 699 plan?

Need a suggestion, hope this is the right thread. Please consider me as a novice about IPTV.
Currently I've Jio Airfiber 899 Annual plan expiring next month.
I've standalone JioHotstar Premium and YouTube premium subscription.
Also have Airtel Postpaid 699 (2 sims).
Is it a good idea to switch to Airtel 699 plan? Is there any additional benefits for mobile postpaid?
Also if I switch, is equipment handover to Jio is required?
Thanks.

Good News Finally, multi-language commentary in JioHotstar for sports replays

Finally, a multi-language commentary in JioHotstar in recently updated sports replays. That's what we have waited for.

(Picture 1): Apart from English, selected Premier League matches have Bengali and Malayalam commentary, starting from Aston Villa vs Fulham match in May 3.

(Picture 2 and Picture 3): IPL 2025 review show is the only cricket related replay after its name change to JioHotstar, having all languages (apart from English and Hindi), such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Haryanvi and Bengali.

We don't know why Premier League didn't include commentaries of these languages in the first place, but the reason why all languages were included in IPL 2025 review show replay is that there was no match going on. This is clearly evident in all WPL, ICC Champions Trophy and IPL replays upto May 8.

If it makes to IPL 2025 match replays after IPL was resumed, this will be a huge win for JioHotstar.

[FIXED] Vi Hotspot Not Working on Laptop or Other Devices from Vivo Phone – Here's the Solution!

Hey everyone,

Sharing this in case someone else is tearing their hair out like I was.

Issue: My Vi (Vodafone India) mobile data worked perfectly on my Vivo phone, but when I tried sharing the internet via hotspot, USB, or Bluetooth, nothing worked — not on my laptop, not even on another phone. Devices would connect, but show “No Internet.”

❌ What Didn’t Work (Tried ALL of this):

  • Tried hotspot, USB tethering, Bluetooth tethering — all said "No internet."
  • Even a second phone connected to the hotspot showed "No Internet."
  • Inserted the Vi SIM into a different phone — worked fine there. So the SIM was not the issue.
  • Tried apps: PdaNet+, NetShare (No Root) — no help.
  • Installed HTTP Injector, used various .ehi config files — nothing improved.
  • Attempted to add DUN in APN settings — no DUN option available.
  • Used dial code ##4636## for engineering mode — didn’t help.
  • Did a network reset from:
Settings > More Settings > Backup & Reset > Network reset — still didn’t work.

✅ What FINALLY Worked:

Turns out the problem was in the APN protocol settings.

Here’s how I fixed it:

Go to:
Settings → SIM cards → mobile networks → Tap your Vi SIM
→ Tap Access Point Names (APN)
→ Tap the active APN (likely named “Vi Internet”)
→ Tap the edit (pencil) icon

Scroll down and set:

  • APN protocol → IPv6
  • APN roaming protocol → IPv4/IPv6
Save the changes

Toggle mobile data off and back on, or just reboot your phone

And boom — hotspot started working on both my laptop and other devices!

📱 Device:
Vivo

📶 Carrier:
Vi (Vodafone India)

TL;DR:

If your Vivo + Vi SIM hotspot doesn’t work on a laptop or another phone, go to:

SIM card settings → Your SIM card carrier → APN settings > edit APN → set :-
  • APN protocol: IPv6
  • APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
That fixed everything instantly for me!
