Good News TRAI asks telcos to publish coverage maps on websites

No one will comply that way. The only solution is for trai to mandate the telcos to report their tower number and locations to it on a monthly basis just like it has mandated for subscriber figures and then for trai to host a dynamic coverage map on its own site updated every month just like it releases the monthly subscriber data reports.
Agreed. That will be the real solution 👍

Sad News Airtel IPTV Restriction: Existing customers must surrender connection to get the new IPTV set-top box

Good decession, They are in hurry to clear Xstream boxes before release of iptv boxes.
@ bold part: I think this is unrelated to stock clearance of existing Xstream DTH box but rather a typical sales people commission thing. Stock clearance is company level thing but this looks like sales people misleading to get their incentives.

If they make customer install DTH and later customer won't be able to switch to IPTV in the existing connection, eventually he will cancel the connection and try to take another new connection with IPTV. Sales people can get benefits (commission) twice by that. That's the whole thing. 😉

Sad News Airtel IPTV Restriction: Existing customers must surrender connection to get the new IPTV set-top box

They were forcing me to take the Fiber + DTH connection, claiming the DTH connection will be replaced with IPTV box once released, which I directly denied (thanks to this forum) and told them to install only when they have an IPTV box available.

My connection installation is on hold now :|

BSNL 4G - News & Discussions

Now people can officially view the cell towers info nearby their location easily and opt for better provider through this portal.

Having tower doesn't mean great service at your end. Airtel having three towers near my home and all them are choked. Vodafone just has one tower since five years and it's performing like beast.

How to Get unreserved Ticket while Travelling?

If this is pertaining to Western Railway then if the distance between station C to B is more than 200 KM you can book an unreserved ticket up to 3 days in advance.
If not then your only option is to book on UTS app using station C's QR code either through another mobile or a pre-printed copy that you can carry along (won't let you book in normal mode while inside the train). This can be done when the train is pulling into the station, 2 mins halt is enough since you will not have to leave the train to go to the ticket window.

Sad News Airtel IPTV Restriction: Existing customers must surrender connection to get the new IPTV set-top box

I requested a callback from airtel for Fiber connection, when I received the call I asked if they can provide the IPTV box alongwith my new connection even though its not mentioned on their sites for Delhi location, they confirmed that yes I can opt in for the IPTV box instead of the DTH. Apparently, you dont need to wait for 12 march for it to release, just call the cc and ask for it! I have booked the connection but have not paid any money so far.
They played with me, and I wasn't expecting this! Sorry, my statement is incorrect, you may have to wait until 12th March for it to officially release. When booking, I paid the booking amount of 1000 RS to create my order where the person on customer care was 100% sure I would get IPTV box with my new connection, the same day Installation person called me to confirm the location, when I asked him for the IPTV box, he said it won't be possible to provide IPTV box until 8th March, which I'm pretty sure is gonna be dragged till 12th March.

Why is no operator ready to show the coverage map on their official site despite TRAI's instructions?🤔
