Airtel offering free Netflix subscription with two broadband plans

Airtel already gives Netflix subscription with some of its prepaid, postpaid plans and now the company has bundled the Netflix subscription with its Rs 1,498 Professional and Rs 3,999 Infinity broadband plans as well. 

The Professional plan at Rs 1,498 gives access to Netflix Basic tier whose regular cost is Rs 199 per month while the Infinity plan for Rs 3,999 comes with the Netflix premium tier that costs Rs 649 monthly.

Airtel Professional plan includes unlimited data at 300Mbps speed and unlimited local, STD calls. Other OTT subscriptions such as Amazon Prime Video, Xstream Premium and Disney+ Hotstar are also available with this plan. Similarly, the Rs 3,999 Infinity plan gives unlimited data at 1Gbps speed and unlimited calls, along with other benefits. 

Netflix currently provides 4 plans in India. The mobile plan offers 480p SD content quality and is restricted to mobile or tablet only. The Basic plan offers access to content from any device but at the same 480p resolution. With the Standard plan, video quality is improved to HD or 1080p and Premium allows you to watch content in 4K HDR. 

How to claim free Netflix subscription

After activating either of the aforementioned plans, users need to open their Airtel Thanks app and go to the “Enjoy your rewards” section under “Discover Thanks Benefit”. Here tap on the Netflix option and you will be automatically redirected to Netflix website to complete the activation process.
