Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in two cities of Jharkhand, including Ranchi and Jamshedpur. The telco has also launched 5G services in three cities of Bihar, which include Muzaffarpur, Bodh Gaya, and Bhagalpur. To recall, Airtel 5G Plus services are already available in Patna.

Airtel 5G Plus services in Muzaffarpur are currently available at Mithanpura, Motijheel, Brahmpura, Juran Chapra, Ramdayalu, MIT, SKMCH, Chakkar Maidan, Bairiya, Sutapatti, Chata Chowk, and Gobarshahi, Khabra. In Bodh Gaya, the 5G services are available at Kalchakra Maidan, Mahabodhi temple, Pachhati, Royal Residency, Bodh Gaya Hospital, and Domuhan Road. In Bhagalpur, the Airtel 5G services are available at Kachahri Chowk, Khalifabaad Chowk, Sarai, SM College, Tilkamanjhi Chowk, Urdu Bazar, University Road, and Nath Nagar.
Airtel 5G Plus services in Ranchi and Jamshedpur
Airtel 5G Plus services in Ranchi are currently available at Ranchi Railway Station, Main Road, Firayalal Chowk, Lalpur, Hinoo Chowk, Harmu, Piska More, Kanta Toli, Deepa Toli, Khelgaon, Booty More, Rajendra Chowk. In Jamshedpur, the 5G Plus services are live at Sakchi Market, Bistupur, TELCO Colony, Tatanagar Railway Station, Sonari, Mango-Dimna Road, Kadma, PM Mall, and Bhubaneshwari Mandir area.
Commenting on the launch, Anupam Arora CEO, Jharkhand, Bihar & Odisha, Bharti Airtel said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Ranchi & Jamshedpur. Airtel customers in these two cities can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more.”
The company also said it would expand its 5G Plus services across the states in due course of time. Airtel customers with 5G smartphones can avail of 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete. According to the company, Airtel 5G Plus now works on all Android and Apple supported 5G devices.
