Airtel 5G Plus services launched in seven cities of Jammu and Kashmir

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in seven cities of Jammu and Kashmir, including Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Kupwara, Lakhanpur, and Khour. According to the company, Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as it continues to construct its network and complete the rollout.

Airtel 5G Plus services in Jammu and Kashmir are currently operational in these locations:

I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Kupwara, Lakhanpur & Khour. Customers in these cities can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds,” said Adarsh Verma, COO, Bharti Airtel, Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh.

“We are in the process of lighting up the entire Union territory which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” he added.

Airtel will augment its 5G services in other areas of these cities in due course of time. Airtel 5G users in these cities with 5G smartphones can avail of the 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete. No SIM card change is required to receive the Airtel 5G Plus services.
