Ahmad said they had received no information from the Zimbabwe board about the cancellation of the tour. "The tour is on and we are proceeding ahead with our preparations as planned," he said.
Following Zimbabwe Cricket back-tracking on their initial statements, PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan told PTI that while the Zimbabwean government had advised its cricket board to call off the tour, they were keen on going ahead and were discussing security matters with players and security experts. Sources said that the PCB had used foreign office channels to convince the Zimbabwean board that their players would be safe in Lahore.

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has confirmed the upcoming tour to Pakistan against the advice of the country's Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC). The board's final decision comes after three days of debate, which began on Thursday when ZC issued a press release suspending the tour and 20 minutes later sent an email retracting it. In the interim, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had told journalists that ZC had been in contact with it and had reassured that the tour would take place as scheduled.

In my personal opinion, they shudnt travel... :no
security is a big big concern there..
only a few days back, nawaz sharif helicopter was targetted, and an missile was targetted to another helicopter on d same route, on which sharif had to go :s
So, u cant trust their security apparatus, simply bcoz anything can hppn there...
