I have noticed that YouTube app shows a white dot on the progress bar to show where the sponsor segment or intro segment ends while seeking. It's difficult to capture it. It only appears when you start seeking.

Shouldn't be difficult to take ss as long as you see it for like 2-3 seconds, unless you're using gesture to take ss.

BTW, are you talking about the Jump ahead option, which let's us jump to the time to which most users skipped to?

It only appears when I am seeking by double tapping. But the time I take a screenshot, I am already past the dot. And when I try to go back, the dot is gone. It doesn't appear again.

BTW, are you talking about the Jump ahead option, which let's us jump to the time to which most users skipped to?

Jump only appears if the segment is at the start. Like preview or intro. (That to not all the time.) It doesn't appear during sponsorship in the middle of the video.
Whereas, the dot can appear any time. It even appears when I am watching Anime on YouTube, which helps skipping the Opening and Ending songs.

Ah, then it is probably just this "Jump Ahead" feature. It has been around for a while now, but only available for Premium users, if I remember correctly.
