Yatra.com's spoof advertisement of Kanhaiya's 'Azaadi' speech is even better than the original
Travel agency Yatra.com has come with a new advertisement which rips off JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar's azaadi speech. Remember his speech on Azaadi when he was released from jail over sedition charges? Yes, this new advertisement will remind you of his speech.
Yatra captions the advertisement as "To all those who've heard "sorry" way too frequently at airport check-ins, we understand you, we're with you, and we have the perfect solution for you! #YatraWebCheckIn"
In this advertisement, a man requests the receptionist at the ticket counter to provide him with a window seat and she replies, "Sorry sir, all the window seats are booked." This is when the guy gets charged up and gets hold of a mike and chants slogans of 'Azaadi'.
He then, goes on saying don't we have this much freedom to sit on the seat we wish to?
And then the slogan starts in chorus, "Hume chahye Azaadi (We want freedom)!"
"We want freedom to chose our own seat, want freedom from standing in long queues."
Yatra.com's advertisement about its web app says, "Don't hurl slogans, be smart and download the Yatra.com's flight web check-in app."
