Diwali is just around the corner and the festive shopping has already begun. While most of the e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal have already started their respective festive sales, Xiaomi has also joined the bandwagon with its Diwali sale, which kicks off today at 10AM. A couple of days back, the company had hinted about its Diwali sale starting today. The three day shopping festival starts today at 10AM and will continue till October 19. The sale begins at 10AM everyday on Mi.com/in and Mi Store Android app. Following the same trend as last year, the company has also announced that it will be holding Re 1 flash sale for its smartphones, and offer up to 25 percent discount on accessories. The Re1 sale will begin at 2PM.
Xiaomi smartphones
The Mi Diwali sale will kick start at 10AM with offers on smartphones such as the Redmi Note 3 (32GB variant), which will be on sale for Rs 10,999 after a discount of Rs 1,000. The Redmi Note 3 (16GB variant), Redmi 3S and the Redmi 3S Prime will be available after a discount of Rs 500 and will be up for grabs for Rs 9,499, Rs 8,499 and Rs 6,499 respectively. Also on offer will be Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone, the Mi 5. Xiaomi is offering Rs 3,000 off on the Mi 5 and will be now available for Rs 19,999, with zero percent interest on EMI, and the Xiaomi Mi Max at Rs 13,999. Mi Max Buyers will also get two months free subscription to Hungama Play and Hungama Music services. Xiaomi will also be launching the new Mi Max Prime smartphone, which comes with a 6.44-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

The 10AM sale is not only limited to smartphones. Xiaomi will be offering 25 percent discount on four accessories. First on the list is the 10,000mAh power bank, which before the sale was priced at Rs 1,299, will now be available for Rs 1,099 during the three-day sale. Second is the Mi Pro in-ear headphones that will be available for Rs 1,399. The product was previously available for Rs 1,799. Next is the Mi Bluetooth speaker, which can be purchased for Rs 1,999. And lastly, the Mi Capsule headphones that will be up for grab for only Rs 899.
The company is also offering some combo plans. The 20,000mAh power bank (Rs 2,199) + USB Fan (Rs 249) will be available for Rs 1,899. The Mi Band (Rs 999) + Mi Band strap (Rs 199) will be available for Rs 1,099. Lastly, there is Mi Band 2 (Rs 1,999) + Mi LED enhanced USB light (Rs 249) available at a special price of Rs 1,999. Along with the Mi Max Prime, Xiaomi is also offering the latest launched Mi Purifier for Rs 9,999 and a new 10,000mAh power bank pro for Rs 1,999. There is also an offer on the Mi Band 2 with which the USB LED light is available for free. However, this offer is only available via Mi app.
Xiaomi Re 1 sale
Like every year, Xiaomi will be conducting Re 1 flash sales on each day at 2PM. The company has already said that the stocks of the devices under this sale are limited. The sale, which starts today, will have 30 units of the Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime on sale along with 100 units of the Mi Bluetooth. On October 18, Tuesday, the company will put 30 units of the Redmi Note 3 (16GB variant) along with 100 units of 20,000mAh power banks. On the last day, the company will extend the offer on 30 units of the Mi 4, and 100 units of the Mi Band 2. In order to participate in the Re 1 flash sale, users need to visit Xiaomi India website, login with their credentials and register themselves for the flash sale. To register for these flash sales, you’ll have to click on ‘Share to Register’ link on Xiaomi’s home page. All users who successfully add a Re 1 item to cart must pay within 2 hours, otherwise the order will be cancelled. All the flash sale results will be announced via Mi Community daily.

Additionally, if you have bought a smartphone under the sale, you can get up to 30 percent discount on Mi Protect plan, which covers the smartphone from accidental and liquid damage for one year. Users also get free pickup and drop facility and free second servicing during the one year period. Xiaomi will also pick one lucky winners everyday from the orders placed every day during October 17 to October 19, who will get a Mi Robot Vacuum cleaner for free. Please note Xiaomi will only pick one luck winner per day.
As Diwali bonus, Xiaomi is also offering free gifts to people. Anyone who buys any product during the three-day sale will get a free laptop sticker. However, for people who have purchased anything for Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000 will get a free keychain.
