Xiaomi has been busy lately, and has launched a bunch of new flagship devices – the new Mi Note 2 and the concept Mi Mix device. However, Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 was recently spotted on Chinese certification website TENAA. Redmi 4 will be the successor to Xiaomi’s popular budget smartphone – the Redmi 3, which has seen multiple revisions in the form of the Redmi 3s, Redmi Pro and Redmi Prime.

According to the information given on TENAA, the Redmi 4 comes will feature a 5-inch dispay supporting full HD (1080p resolution) and come with a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It will feature 3GB RAM and come with 32GB of internal storage (same as the Redmi 3s Prime), which will be expandable to 128GB.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 listed on the website features a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, along with a 5MP front camera. The phone is backed up by a 4000 mAh battery and will be running MIUI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Redmi 4 will be available in two colours – Silver and Gold and is expected to be priced at 1300 Yuan (approx Rs 12,800), which is almost double the cost of the Redmi 3.

Xiaomi Redmi 3 was launched in January 2016 and featured a 5-inch IPS LCD display (1280 x 720 pixels resolution). The phone features an octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset along with an Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 256GB). A new generation of the phone, called the Redmi 3S Prime was launched in India on August this year with a price of Rs 8,999.

Although Xiaomi has not given any official statement about the Redmi 4, it is expected that the phone will be launched in early November.
