In addition to the original white version, the Xiaomi Mi Note has been offered in bamboo and in pink for Chinese consumers only. Today, the upstart manufacturer added another color option for the home town fans. The Xiaomi Mi Note Black Edition has been unveiled, priced at the equivalent of $400 USD. That compares to the $370 USD that Xiaomi charges for the bamboo covered variant.

Besides getting the phone, those purchasing the Mi Note Black Edition will receive the 10th album from Chinese singer Jason Zhang. The singer became a star in the country in 2004 after winning the first year of singing competition My Show. So in other words, Mr. Zhang is the Kelly Clarkson of China.

The Xiaomi Mi Note features a 5.7-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 386ppi. A quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU is driving the phone, which employs the Adreno 330 GPU for graphics. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of non-expandable storage. A 13MP rear camera (with OIS!) is on board as is a 4MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats. A 3000mAh battery powers the handset and Android 5.0 is pre-installed with MIUI 6 running on top.
