Even as rumours of The Undertaker's return to Battleground are rife, here comes a prediction of the Deadman's match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
It has been predicted by none other than Jim Ross, who on his blog wrote that the Undertaker would take on Brock Lesnar. "Here's one for you...Undertaker comes back to Summer Slam, causes Lesnar to lose to Rollins and then Taker faces Lesnar at Summer Slam. Yes, I'm on meds," he posted in his blog.
His lines cannot be ignored as he is one of the close observers of WWE storyline development. Hence, there is a strong possibility that The Undertaker could return to WWE in the coming days. More importantly, he is likely to make his comeback on Sunday's pay-per-view event Battleground held at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Nonetheless, the Deadman should appear on WWE Monday Night Raw next week.
The Undertaker taking on Brock Lesnar would make sense as the latter had ended his unbeaten winning streak at WrestleMania 30. So, they could re-start their rivalry.
If The Undertaker returns to Battleground and intervenes while Brock Lesnar is taking on Seth Rollins, they would easily lock horns at SummerSlam to be held on 23 August, 2015 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City. They will get enough time to build their feud and their match would be one of the USPs of the event next month.
After losing to Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker returned to WWE a year after during WrestleMania 31 held in March 2015. He faced Bray Wyatt and defeated him.
Undertaker returned to Battleground to haunt Lesnar.
