Enzo’s wearing a Vegas-themed outfit. Enzo and Cass do their usual shtick on their entrance. Loud reaction for Enzo and Cass. New Day compare Enzo and Cass to Han Solo and Chewbacca, as well as The Vaudevillains to the Monopoly men in their pre-match promo. Woods says they will show why they are “The Elite” team in this industry, an obvious dig at Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, The Elite in New Japan, who have been going back-and-forth with New Day throughout this year on social media.

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: New Day by pinfall
New Day celebrate their title retention after as we see highlights of all the carnage in this match.
Super-fun opener with a real hot, frenetic pace to it. New Day retaining is the right call as there is no reason to take the titles off them anytime soon with their immense popularity. Vaudevillains eating the pin was also the right call as they are low team on the totem pole currently. Enzo and Cass and The Club lost nothing in defeat. Loved this, nice way to kick-off the PPV proper.

Solid match, Corbin put on a very good performance, in spite of the Vegas crowd chanting “Boring” during it. Ziggler is another gatekeeper at this point in his WWE tenure, but he did a good job again at making Corbin look great. I liked this.

Charlotte and Dana celebrate their win after. Lynch helps Natalya up, but Natalya attacks Lynch and leaves her lying. Natalya leaves the ring very upset.
Run-of-the-mill tag match here. Ever since Extreme Rules, the Women’s Division has been put on ice for no real good reason. This did nothing, other than the post-match angle with Lynch and Natalya, to thaw it out. For a division that looked so promising after Wrestlemania, it unfortunately looks like we are right back where we started one year ago before the “Divas Revolution” began. Almost as if someone put the kabosh on the division becoming too popular or something, can you say Knockouts Division 2009?

Decent match with a fun flash-pin ending with Sheamus being surprised by the upstart Crews. Nothing more to it that, it was fine.

Styles celebrates his win after.
Great match with an unneeded cheap finish with the Club interfering to give Styles the win, while protecting Cena at the same time. Cena is beyond protection at this point, so doing the ending that way doesn’t help Styles in the slightest. Shame such a masterful performance by both men had to be tarnished by timid booking.

Winner and NEW WWE World Champion: Dean Ambrose by pinfall (Dirty Deeds)
Ambrose celebrates his title win afterwards as the show closes.
WOW, what a way to end the show. First off, great main event between Reigns and Rollins. Secondly, I really feel like the Ambrose cash-in and title win was a complete and utter audible called on the fly due to the Cleveland Cavs winning the NBA Title an hour or so ago, since Ambrose is from Cleveland. Even if that is or isn’t the case, tonight was about the resurrection of Dean Ambrose as a player in this company and it was an amazing success. Looks like it’ll be a Shield three-way at either Battleground or even Summerslam and tonight’s proceedings allow for it to have some true meaning. Reigns looks to get his belt back, Rollins wanting to avenge being given the ultimate payback by Ambrose, Ambrose wanting to prove that the title win wasn’t a fluke and all three of them wanting to show who the best member of the Shield is. It writes itself. Phenomenal ending to a damn good show. Go watch the replay, NOW!
MOTN: Reigns vs. Rollins
MVP: Dean Ambrose
