Microsoft is rolling Windows 10 out in phases, but the company just announced that over 14 million devices are all running its latest operating system. In a blog post, Windows marketing head Yusuf Mehdi says that Microsoft has "many more upgrades to go" before everyone with a reservation gets their copy through. Those who reserved ahead of time will be prioritized.

If you haven't yet decided to make the switch, though, you can still do so through the Get Windows 10 app on your PC. Windows 10 is the first major version of Windows to be made free for most consumers, so Microsoft can expect a faster upgrade pace than usual — especially considering how much of an improvement 10 is on 8.

Free upgrade is only for one year, not for lifetime

I think Microsoft forget how to count..:lol they have released windows 95 or even windows 98 before releasing windows 7/8/10..Literally as the name appears it looks like windows 95/98 are are newer than windows 7/8/10..:shy

As win 10 will power all device and it is the last windows so Windows One(similar to Onedrive) could also be a name but then history comes again as there was Windows 1
