Siniakova has made it though for the No. 1 seed in a straight forward matter. She got from 3-0 in the second set to 7-5 and came close to taking the match to tie-braker and may be a third set as well.

Now the #1 seed has to face Siniakova's doubles partner and this year French open champ Krejcikova who was unbeaten in the last 15 fixtures. That game will be a cracker.

Wow.. Such a great match. She had just given 1 break point in whole 3 sets and because of that she had lost the first set. Anyhow, she hold rest of her serves and was breathing down #2 seed Sebalenka's throat almost every game in Sebalenka's serves..

That's not true buddy. She took break from Tennis in 2015 and played for Brisbane Heat in that year... Thats it.. She was a professional tennis player from the start and had won May junior titles as well and had made her debut as Pro at age of 15 in Australian open..
