I have never done defragment of my Hard drive in last 10 years manually but if you are curious then you can run Windows builtin defrag software but Windows will do it for you automatically as a part of maintenance. Also never defrag SSD

Yes,the built in one is not good.

Yes,the built in one is not good.

That's the only software which assure you that MBR or GPT on your HDD will not be messed up during defragment and you can definitely boot up your computer next time.
