Whatsapp messenger features is really good in old version. The Meta AI is itself is bloatware added in it. If you don't know, when you shared images, video with Meta AI, this will be save via facebook server will be public in future. The chat is encrypted, you can send videos, pics and documents.

I mostly use my Whatsapp message to talk from other countries friends from spain, australia, canada, london, turkey etc, If you having friends on Instagram with a good friendship, you can ask their whatsapp no in polite way. Then you can start texting. In future, maybe you will visit other country, they will help you..
