I am 100% sure the main reason for Deepak Hooda being selected in ODIs is that he gives u that 6th bowling option with his part time off spin which current indian team middle order players dont give. He can play a decent role of finisher as well with bat lets see how this selection turns out to be .And happy to see Ravi Bishnoi finally getting Indian team call, we badly need a good wicket taking spinner in limited overs

Shahrukh Khan/Rishi Dhawan would have been better choice. Else Thakur/Chahar would have been promoted to that role. Extra pacer would have been better(Nagarkoti, Mavi, Thampi, the left-handed one played for Rajasthan royals, one from Rajasthan Royals would have been better). Kuldeep Yadav should not have been picked for any reason.

Desmond Haynes has marked his first squad since replacing Roger Harper as West Indies' lead selector by handing Kemar Roach an ODI recall after two-and-a-half years out of the side for February's series in India.

Fabian Allen has recovered from Covid-19 and replaces Gudakesh Motie in the 15-man squad, while Nkrumah Bonner, Darren Bravo and Brandon King strengthen the batting group and Hayden Walsh Jr offers an extra spin option.
