@Bapun Raz . just wanted to know , even in banks they are just asking aadhar no to link , no biometric verification is doing in banks. But why for a sim card bbiometric verification done? Why not just giving aadhar number alone? bros clarify my doubt..

Supreme Court pulls up West Bengal for plea against Aadhaar-benefits linking

"How can the State of West Bengal come here directly? Let Mamata Bannerjee come and file a petition as a citizen," a Bench of A.K. Sikri and Ashok Bhushan said.

The State had filed a writ petition under Article 32 of the Constitution. The specific Article can only be used by individual citizens to approach the Supreme Court against state actions which violate their fundamental rights. Article 32 cannot be agitated by a State against the Centre.

"How can a State challenge a law passed by the Centre? Tomorrow the Centre will come against laws by the States," Justice Sikri addressed Kapil Sibal, senior advocate for West Bengal.

The Bench expressed its annoyance, observing "let an individual come to us... Mr. Sibal, you know this... you are more mature than us".

Mr. Sibal is always available to fight case against the Govt. of India. Befitting & apt reply given by the judge.

In a public forum like this I am bound to control my emotions..... But linking of aadhar to everything is a good step or not I have100% doubt. Our honourable C.M. has denied linking her aadhar with mobiles. She has also challeneged Modi govt if possible disconnect her lines.

Linking Aadhar to every single thing is been done to make things accountable and bring transparency. What is the issue in linking aadhar with mobile and other things?
I will tell you one latest example of myself. Last month i shifted to delhi. I went to Airtel store for porting my postpaid number from UP west to Delhi circle. It took just 10 minutes for the executive to do the formalities. Just few thumb impressions and my Aadhar number she took. I didn't gave any single piece of paper document or photo. And i got the new sim so easily.
Another example: Executive from Icici Bank came to my office for opening new salary account. She just asked my Aadhar number, took thumb impressions and took pic of my pan card. That's it. New account opened in flat 15 minutes without any hard copy of documents.
I only shared this experience to understand how easy things have become for honest people.
Indeed things getting worse for people who do illicit work and deal in black money.
They are the one who fearing to get tracked of their financial transactions.
These days people are fearing to spend money openly because the do not have proper source of that income. They don't pay tax and that is the reason they are opposing all these reforms.
This are just my personal views and experiences.
I do not mean to offend anyone.

Linking Aadhar with mobile number was made compulsory by SC. The central govt has just asked to implement the SC orders. SC should make sure that her lines are disconnected if she doesn't follow SC guidelines.

Bro what U said is very true, But what about the security bro.
Nowadays selling private data is occuring very common, even big companies are selling our data ,
we even saw dhoni's aadhar put up in twitter. They blacklisted that private contract company who posted for 10 years,But will they took same action if it had been a common man like me?
say for example if data centre containing our aadhar biometrics is breached the result will be devastating.
If the biometric data fall in wrong hands then thats it.
Let me tell an example ,,in future instead of this passwords, pin, otp etc will be replaced by this Thumb impressions or so called Biometric verifications, At the time if our biometrics data is breached then what will happen?
Also India doesnt have any privacy law. But other countries have,

Just to say USA dont use store any biometrics of their citizen. The reason is what i said above. Their social security number only has a number and name not even photo of the person.
You may say Singapore also using this same type aadhar card but there that single card can be used for multiple purpose,
But here in india we use each card for each , ex voter id card pan card , Ration card etc etc.If aadhar serves as all in one card then thats goods.

Bros ,Im not against it but without proper Security its not good.

Right bro, you have made a valid point. Cyber security in India is still a concern.
But is this why "honourable" CM opposing Aadhar? I don't think so.. Her reasons for opposing it are purely based on vote bank politics.
