Yes, I watched four episodes. Nothing new in it. Ajay Devgan's talent got wasted.
It was an adaptation of Luther. He knew what he was getting into and had supported it. Also, the show is going to be a good watch for people who hasn't watched Luther. I had watched the show today, I won't say it was bad.

Also, as I said previously many times, as long as Applause Entertainment is the biggest OTT production studio, we can't expect any thing new. They depend on remakes. Their only hit which wasn't an adaptation is Scam 1992, which was developed by Sony Next Studios. So, I wasn't much bothered with it.

Juvenile Justice: They've picked up very controversial topic this time. Makes sense why it was released in OTT. Overall a good show. A good beginning. The second case (E03-E04) is a bit boring. But after that it picks up again. Length could've been shorter.
8/10

Tonic: I had lots of expectations for this one. The first half is hilarious and entertaining. But the second half is a disappointment. Too much unnecessary drama.
7/10

Rudra: Boring! I didn't watch the original show Luther. But knowing how good people claim it to be, I was really excited. But it didn't deliver. You just never get hooked to the plot or the characters. Ajay Devgn's performance is also not thay good. It's 20% acting, and 80% smoking. Thankfully there are only 6 Episodes. But still I won't recommend watching it.
6.5/10

Undekhi - S2: Not as good as the first season. I enjoyed the first season, but this one was just meh. Worse thing is that, they are stretching it for another season. Also, I felt that the cussing has increased a lot compared to the first season. It's in like 90% of the dialogues. But overall, compared to Rudra, it was far more entertaining.

When forum members started criticising Rudra after you had finished all your data downloading it.

I don't know if you like serialized story telling or not. Luther isn't a typical crime thriller which goes on for 8-10 episodes. I really enjoyed the original BBC show, it may be ranked as the 2nd best BBC series imo. However, Rudra is a Corbon copy of Luther, may be not much smoking and a dialogue here and there... The shows writers are very much not creative. This is what I hated with those adaptations mostly... Anyway, if it isn't something u didn't like, it's not something for you...

Yeah.. I found it to be like sitcoms (minus the comedy). Where there is a main plot that progresses over all the episodes, as well as a unique plot (case) every episode. You get the idea.
I guess I prefer shows which focus on one plot throughout all the episodes (like The Great Indian Murder, The Bestseller).

I am midway through Undekhi S02.As you rightly said it is not as good as 1st ssn. but that's probably because 1st ssn was like a pleasant shock. For me Harsha Chaya as Papaji is the show stopper. The guy has embraced the role of a drunken, abusive, power drunk criminal as if he was born for it.

100% agreed!
He's a natural. It feels as if he isn't acting at all. As if he's like that in real life itself.

Magpie Murders:
A decent whodunit. Keeps people entertained through out. However, I would have loved a good transistion between the real world and the fiction as most characters in the fiction are inspired by real world characters and played by the same actors. Good watch. 7.5/10.

Finished the 2nd.Liked it though 1st ssn. was better. The ending has left scope for a further ssn. down the line which i think the makers would grab.
