Real life story based on 1970's Bangladesh(East Pakistan) Freedom Fight against Pakistan.. Story is engaging but personally I didn't liked Ishan Khattar in this movie.
and I strongly condemn that Song by AR Rahman . He should not do any experiment with the cult song which was Written by Kaji Najrul Islam( in 1920).
Cinematography is apt and appropriate in this movie.
if we compare it with recent movie like Uri/ Sher shah/ Sardar Udham you will surely disappoint.
 
Completed: "Parnoshaborir Shaap" is based on Shouvik Chakroborty's book of the same name, and it was initially explored in a popular audio podcast two years ago. Director Parambrata Chatterjee took on the challenge of adapting it into a web series, introducing some alterations to the storyline. However, the web series takes a drastic departure from the original plot twist, resulting in a disappointing outcome. While the original book had a satisfying ending with a plot twist, the web series neglects this element. Not recommended.
 
After Pippa and Parnashabori now my watchlist had 3rd P, PI Meena and binged watched that too.

The show is slow at begining , will get some time to get your interest but once you hook up you will definitely engaged till last episode. See, Debalay Bhattacharya is a season campaigner, directed a lot bengali series for Hoichoi, he knows how to make series, he knows how to build up character. Parambrata, Jishu sengupta , Vinay Pathak every one justified their role and Tanya Maniktala also did fantastic job here. Totally satisfying.
And lastly cinematography. DOP team did right job the way they filmed kolkata's nostalgia, Greenary of North Bengal looked stunning in UHD HDR.
Recommended if you like detective series and that a female detective , first of its kind in Bollywood I guess.
 
Pippa is a good movie ruined by one actor's overacting. Story was good. Cinematography was great. It was just one actor who can't even act if he's life depends on it ruining it. Another thing I've noticed is Mrunal Thakur plays herself in every movie. Somehow she manages compliments to every role she play. She seems to have some god gifted talent which I wish this other one had. A one-time watchable movie.
