Watched these 2 webseries over last week:
1)The Trial on Hotstar
Heavily borrowed from courtroom dramas like Suits, the series fells flat due to over the top acting from Kajol. The episodes are though short and don't give much time to ponder over the details. The mantra for the series though remains banking on popularity and face value of an ex superstar.I thought that after Saas Bahu and Flamengo Hotstar has finally managed to turn the tide but they are again back to the old days of wasting money on big names with little or no content.

2)Kaalkoot on JioCinema
This one though very slow paced has actors in top form.Vijay Varma,Seema Biswas have acted brilliantly but it is Yashpal Sharma playing the role of a constable whose comic timing and dialogues brings some life in this slow paced story.Overall if someone is having patience then Kalkoot is a good watch.

Currently watching "The Hunt for Veerappan" on Netflix.Frankly speaking i am disturbed by the lack of remorse shown by his wife over the 100's killings by Veerappan and actually goes on to justify his actions.

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 is a great movie. All the films since Rogue Nation have been directed by McQuarrie who knows how to handle such a huge task and this movie does not falter from it. First of all the story was really good
I'll never forgive them for Isla Faust, my favorite part of the last few films
and all the action sequences were top notch plus behind the camera departments were all in their top gear. If the runtime was a little shorter then this movie would have been perfect placement for the final movie of MI franchise. Highly enjoyed it (4/5)

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani is, safe to say surprised me most. I had good expectation from it after hearing so many good reviews and it was really good. The clash of two highly different cultural ideologies and the patriarchal vs feminist tone were not subtle to say the least but the writer has handled it well and has been directed good enough. Look, nobody goes to a KJo movie expecting a award winning film, people know what kind of movie he makes and going by the entertainment value, this movie was really fun, although I have my doubt regarding the rewatch value of the film but highly recommended if you are looking for some good fun. PS: the album was so, so great LOVED IT. (3.5/5)

My personal ranking of all the MI films till now
  1. Rogue Nation (2015)
  2. Fallout (2018)
  3. Ghost Protocol (2011)
  4. Mission Impossible (1996)
  5. Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
  6. Mission Impossible III (2006)
  7. Mission Impossible II (2000)

The Lincoln Lawyer - Season 2: You cannot escape the US weekly TV drama vibe. 😂 You can definitely tell that it wasn't intended to be a web series. Something about the way it's been shot and edited. Overall this season was pretty average. Except the last episode. The last episode leaves you looking forward to what happens next.
(6.5/10)

Watched Heart of Stone on Netflix. It baffles me why Netflix feels the need of making an expensive nonsense movie which majority won't like.It was same with Gray Man,Red Notice and many other Netflix movies.

Red Notice and Gray Man atleast had some great action and fast paced scenes (even though highly over the top). But Heart of Stone has literally nothing good in it. A total waste of time.
