That doesn't matter. There have been other remakes that were successful despite people seeing dubbed version of the original.
Agree but the original movie is considered as a masterpiece and it has been shown so many times on TV that majority of the public who watches tv would have seen it.Moreover, there was nothing fascinating about the story .It focussed more on showcasing the acting abilities of the actors rather than a mass entertainer.
I didn't find it slow either.
Well that was the general view.
I think I was looking at box office figures and thought it was unsuccessful. We need to accept that we have new set of audience who prefers to stream over going at theatres.
This also i agree and but it is not only down to the availability of movies after few days on OTT.Now there are so many things to watch on OTT that people do not need to go to theatres just for the sake of it.Most of the movies i have personally watched in theatres over last year or 2 have been the Hollywood movies. Now a days a movie has to be something special or has to star a hero with mad following like Shahrukh or Salman. The days of small town movies seems to be over ,Ayushmann Khurana recently told in an interview that it is difficult for a film like Bareily ki Barfi to find success.

Watched 2 movies since yesterday:
1)Operation Mayfair on Netflix
Rank Bad movie.Looks like the makers had taken Jimmy Shergill only because he was on holidays in London. He looks totally disinterested throughout the movie, going through dialogues as if he is doing daily chores. For an actor of his caliber this was rank bad performance. The other actors are even worse.Ankur Bhatia who plays the role of a psychic killer acts hilariously bad.

2)Bhola on Prime Video
Contrary to my expectations this was a decent one time watch.Yes action was OTT and there were some lame attempts at Comedy but overall the movie is a decent time pass partly due to its fast pace. The movie is all about Ajay Devgan. He has acted well,Tabu is decent too.Deepak Dobariyal looks menacing as villain and there is surprise in the post credit scenes which tells that a sequel is a possibility.

I saw Bhediya on Jio Cinema. Completely wastage of time. Ok the message they wanted to convey was good but they could have told it in another way instead of making it so complex . The whole plot of " Ichadari Bhediya " was so forced . Varun Dhawan 's acting was ok . Abhishek Banerjee was good . Kriti Sanon acts like the same in all her movies ( except Mimi ) . Rest all the actors was okish . Except "" Tu Mera Koi Na hoke bhi kuch Lage " song , there's nothing to be appreciated in the movie . Also post credit scene was again not at all required .

Overall ⭐⭐ / 5

Completed watching Unbreakable trilogy it started great, got even better and then the okay, good enough part. I'm not gonna tell what happened, you have to see it yourself, in for a damn treat. Be sure to watch it.
1. Unbreakable (2000), the first installment and my god it was so good. A more realistic vision of superhuman genre told through the lens of humane characteristics was truly work well done! I had no idea going in the film and pleasantly surprised by it. The plot unfold slowly but the meticulously crafted story and the aesthetics of the film keeps you drowned in the film. Really liked it. (4/5)

2. Split (2016), now this was the film I enjoyed the most and it has undoubtedly one of the most under appreciated performance of all time by James McAvoy, I was left in awe overtime he came on screen, such work incorporating so many character traits is just truly phenomenal. This movie has no relation to the first one except a cameo by the lead of the first film, its not an spoiler, just a clarification. My favourite of all three. (5/5)

3. Glass (2019), the culmination of the trilogy by bringing all the characters of previous films together and reflecting on why and how of all the unnatural explorations of the characters. The first half was good but the second was a hit or miss honestly. I was not disappointed nor surprised at the ending. There were so many ways the story could have routed, possibly making one of the best psychological drama out there. But that doesn't mean movie wasn't good, it was but not to my liking. (3/5)

Why did Young Sheldon had to have such perfect ending? 😢 Just finished it. Missing it already. Can't wait until Fall.

Finished 'The Diplomat" on Netflix.Though slow paced the series won't let you feel bored and the ending is such a cliffhanger .Good watch if one has a little patience.

Slow paced and long episodes are borefest. I patiently watched one episode a night still couldn't like it. Nothing about this series made sense. And we got not one conclusion. Keri Russell who excels in these type of shows couldn't save it. One good thing makers did was ending it with cliffhanger so that we care about this when it's remade because we invested 8 hours of our time watching this.

Well did you expected the ambassador of a country to roll his/her sleeves and start killing Terrorist's ? :)

Didn't ambassador's character here herself hated playing a diplomat? She was annoyed that she couldn't go to Afghanistan.
