Vodafone India Tuesday launched free data and roaming benefits for its subscribers in Haryana on pre-booking of a 4G SIM.
While a formal announcement on the commercial launch of 4G services will be made shortly, customers pre-booking their Vodafone 4G SIM between August 1 and August 23 will get free 1GB 4G data valid for 10 days from activation, the telco said in a statement.
Vodafone customers, according to the telco, can avail this benefit simply by sending the SMS Go 4G to 199.
In addition, India's second-largest operator is offering 4G customers roaming across all existing Vodafone 4G circles in India that include Mumbai, Delhi & NCR, Kerala, Karnataka and Kolkata.
The telco added that it is in the process of taking 4G network to Haryana, UP East, Gujarat and rest of Bengal circles.
It had recently made 4G services available in parts of Gurgaon, as a part of high-speed network launch in Delhi NCR region.
"Vodafone is now all set to bring the international 4G experience to our 5.4 million customers in Haryana. While we announce our formal 4G launch soon, we want our customers to be future ready," Mohit Narru, Business Head - Haryana, Vodafone India said.
Vodafone has already made 4G ready SIMs available at 250 brand stores and more than 5,000 multi-brand outlets across Haryana.
